A consent banner is required when a site sets cookies it does not strictly need: analytics, advertising, social networks. We set none of those.
The site's only two cookies are necessary for it to work, or record a choice you made yourself. The rules exempt them from prior consent. Rather than make you click a window for nothing, we chose not to install anything that would require it.
