Privacy policy

We only ask for what is needed to host you: a way to reply, and what is needed to prepare your stay. Nothing more.

We never sell data, we run no targeted advertising, and the site does not measure your browsing.

Only what you give us, plus the strict technical minimum.

• Checking availability, working out the price and confirming a stay.
• Reaching you before, during and after the stay, on WhatsApp or by email.
• Keeping the accounts: payments received, expenses, owner statements.
• Answering messages sent through the site's forms.

• Performance of the accommodation contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into it.
• Our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax ones.
• Our legitimate interest in keeping reliable records and preventing disputes.

Only the ONDO HOUSES team consults your data, each person with their own access code. The following providers process it on our behalf and may not use it for anything else:

We pass your data to no one else. If an authority sends us a lawful request, we answer only within the framework the law provides.

Our servers are in Germany, our mail service in Switzerland, and our booking partners in Europe. Your data therefore travels outside Cameroon, to countries with a high level of protection. We deliberately grant every visitor, Cameroonian included, the rights guaranteed by the European regulation.

• The whole site is encrypted (HTTPS).
• The management area is protected by personal codes, stored only as an unreadable fingerprint, and every action there is logged.
• The database is backed up every day.
• Nothing is deleted lightly: a deletion moves the record to a recoverable bin.

At any time you may ask:

• what we hold about you, and to receive a copy of it;
• to have inaccurate information corrected;
• to have your data erased, except what the law requires us to keep;
• to restrict a processing operation, or to object to it;
• to receive your data in a format another application can read.

Write to contact@ondo-houses.com. We answer within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the competent authority: ANTIC in Cameroon, or your national data protection authority in the European Union.

• No sale or rental of your data.
• No targeted advertising, no cross-site tracking.
• No automated decisions: a human being handles every request.
• No collection aimed at minors: the site addresses adults.

The site uses only two cookies, both necessary for it to work, and no advertising tracker. The details are on the dedicated page.
